Features and applications:

4145 aluminum alloy, American deformed aluminum and aluminum alloy. Aluminum alloys are divided into two categories: cast aluminum alloys, which are used in the as-cast state; deformed aluminum alloys, which can withstand pressure processing, and have higher mechanical properties than the as-cast state. It can be processed into various shapes and specifications of aluminum alloy materials. Mainly used in the manufacture of aviation equipment, daily necessities, doors and windows for construction, etc.

Standard comparison: Alcoa Association (AA) 4145, UNS A94145

4145 aluminum alloy was originally developed as a brazing alloy because of its low melting point and high fluidity. It has very low sensitivity to welding cracks and is used with 2XXX series alloys or aluminum copper castings or aluminum copper silicon castings. It can withstand high temperatures.

When 4145 aluminum alloy is welded, it is generally more popular than 2319 because it "penetrates" better, provides a brighter weld, and produces fewer dark spots. However, it does have a lower welding tensile strength exceeding 2319, which is not suitable for welding with high magnesium content

alloy.

4145 aluminum alloy is mostly used in welding processes, such as welding wire, welding rod, aluminum coil, high temperature resistant materials, etc.
